Job Title: Supply Chain Planner Industry: FMCG Product: Food Location: Dungannon Package: £35k - £40k

Essential:

  • This role requires the candidate to be confident, proactive, and an excellent communicator to liaise with internal and external customers.

  • Must have experience in planning, organizing, and prioritizing, with good numerical analytical skills.

  • Advanced in Excel and have a good knowledge of ERP systems.

  • Previous experience with stock control systems such as Rubicon.

  • FMCG experience in the food supply is advantageous.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work is essential.

  • Organized and able to prioritize own workload.

  • Experience working under pressure and tight deadlines.

  • Good oral and written communication skills (Sufficient level of written and spoken English to maintain levels of safety)

  • Ability to work with minimum supervision and coherently with other team members.

  • Flexibility with working times to ensure consistency of service level agreements, availability of product, and adherence to food safety requirements.

Duties:

  • Managing customer demand with supply day to day- daily, weekly order planning with suppliers and ensuring compliance to POS.

  • Review historical sales trends, prepare forecast data, evaluate forecast results, and optimize supply.

  • Build collaborative working relationships with Sales, Suppliers, and production teams to understand the demand.

  • Drivers: how the product portfolio mix, promotional & seasonal strategies, and their sales targets, translate into forecasts for products and provide insight using the demand planning tool to drive improvement.

  • Understanding the growing cycles and being able to influence the planning parameters.

  • Implement continuous improvement activities within the supply chain and ERP.

  • Managing supplier service and performance through agreed KPI and performance improvement metrics.

  • Stock Control and management using a house ERP system.

  • Support on seasonal planning, seasonal uplift, and promotional analysis with Commercial Team.

  • Liaise with the Commercial team and NPD on all new product requirements to ensure successful product launches.

  • Continuously seeking opportunities to improve business processes, challenging the status quo to seek improvements in business KPIs.

  • Undertake any other duties considered by the company to be within the remit.
