An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our clients enthusiastic team at their fast-growing manufacturing premises, dedicated to producing a wide range of Foods. The company has experienced strong expansion in the last couple of years, which includes the development of new products to target their market.

Responsibilities, Duties and Requirements:

• Identifying the organisations purchasing needs, to cover all categories, including packaging, corrugate, films and plastics.

• Building relationships with suppliers and negotiating with them for the best price, MOQ’s, and delivery times scales.

• Processing requisitions and updating senior management on the status of orders

• Co-ordinate month end stock takes and collate valuations for the finance team

• Updating inventory, maintaining accurate records, and managing min/max stock levels, ensuring no outages whilst working to long lead times.

• Arranging transport of goods from abroad and tracking orders to ensure timely delivery and seeing key tasks/urgent stock requirements through to completion. GRN status.

• Understanding the target market and analysing trends in usage requirements to make informed buying decisions

• Coordinating with inventory teams/goods in team, management, and all storage facilities, and being clear on the priorities for you and the team

• Future proof all material availability using 13 week rolling forecast and orders in alignment with FY targets.

• Attend NPD meetings and work along side the team to secure new ingredient sand packaging requirements.
