Last week we mentioned some exciting news coming for the 2nd of May. Well, the 2nd of May flew in and before we knew it was over. So, without further delay, we are ready to announce a few new changes to Protea Recruitment.
This is probably part of day-to-day business for many of my competitors and clients, but it's a significant achievement for us, and we cannot be more proud and excited. We are thrilled to announce that we have taken on our 1st consultant and are pleased to welcome John Small. John will look to expand our reach across the country, focusing on the entirety of the Manufacturing and the FMCG sector, including Food, Drinks, and distribution.
A little about John, from John: "I am delighted to join Protea Recruitment during such an exciting period for the business. I have recently completed a degree in business management to help further my career. In addition, I am a father to two boys with a surprise on the way. Family is very important to me, making joining Protea Recruitment, a family-centred business, even more special. I can't wait for the hard work to begin and be part of the Protea future."

As well as taking on John, we are also pleased to announce that we have moved out of the backroom and have offices. We are now based at Pure offices in the Gyle. Suite 18, 4 Lochside Way, Park, Edinburgh EH12 9DT. It offers an excellent working area, space to grow and a break out room to host any client or candidate looking to pop in for a beverage; why not pop around. Protea Recruitment is expanding its portfolio to include recruiting in the Consumer goods space focusing on hard consumer goods. We are fortunate to partner with several growing businesses in this market space; Protea is looking forward to expanding with its clients in this new sector.
