Essential:
Experience in High-Care food production management desired
HACCP, food safety and hygiene
Excellent analytical and problem-solving Skills
Have experience in driving change management and will be comfortable making tough decisions while upholding a strong set of behaviours and values.
Be capable of successfully transitioning from the factory floor to the boardroom, demonstrating good commercial awareness and the ability to contribute to wider business initiatives.
Duties:
Support the Middle-level Managers to manage the day-to-day activities of Production, Warehousing, Quality, and Logistics.
Ensure Managers are briefed and clearly understand the key organizational messages.
Have commercial awareness when working on business strategies to develop plans to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Being able to balance strategic and operational priorities will be vital in this role, you’ll need to have a hands-on approach but know when to delve into the detail or when to retain a wider perspective.
Ensuring Compliance with external audits, i.e., BSI, BRC, Lion code, etc.
Responsible for the production, procurement, and planning of daily operations.
Monitor budgets and costs effectively.
Planning and controlling change by researching new technologies and alternative methods of efficiency.
Have an awareness and support teams with Health and Safety in departments.
Inspiring, coaching, developing, and mentoring your team to grow into a positive culture.
Your leadership will be positive motivation and goal setting, leading by example.
Working with middle-level Managers to establish, implement and review their departmental policies and procedures, goals, and objectives, whilst bringing a continual improvement culture, and evolving processes by developing and reviewing what we do.
Have excellent communication and decision-making skills.
Ensures compliance with company policies.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
